How to hire a studio to build your website
Look for live work, a written price, and one studio that stays responsible until launch.
What to check
Open the work. Read whether the price is a range or a fog. Ask who you will talk to after you pay. You want a named studio, a scope you can read, and a date.
Questions worth asking
What is included? What is not? When do I pay the rest? What do you need from me? What happens if I want one more page later? A straight studio answers these before the deposit.
A warning sign
Be careful if someone wants the full price before you have seen a plan, or if nobody can show a live site. A deposit before work is normal. A blank invoice is not.
